HIP RANGE OF MOTION - 270-0000/270-0000-E

The Hip Range of Motion Test Fixture meets the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) specifications for hip-femur testing for the Hybrid III 50th percentile dummy.  The Fixture can also be used for the 5th female dummy by purchasing additional moment-arm and mounting bracket.

 

Four Channels are required to run the Hip Range of Motion Test Fixture.  Part number 270-0000 is designed for 110-volt, 60-Hz AC power and 270-0000-E is designed for 220-volt, 50-Hz AC power.  This assemlby includes a stepper motor, actuator, control indexer, frame, load cell, two (2) rotary potentiometers, one (1) tilt sensor and mounting hardware for the Hybrid III 50th dummy.

 

First Technology Safety Systems also provide a turnkey Hip Range of Motion system under part number 270-0000-DAS (110 volt) and part number 270-0000-DAS-E (220 volt).  These fixtures include the standard fixture along with an 8-Channel lab data acquisiton system, pc and software.
